Amahd Woods

Ahmad Rashad (Shay) Woods, born on October 25, 1980, to Jennifer Jeanette Anderson and Dwayne Anthony Woods, peacefully departed this earthly realm on May 16, 2023.

He attended Brookhaven High School and later pursued a career in landscaping and car detailing.

Shay's greatest joy came from his role as a devoted father to his beloved daughter, Ariana Woods, who brought immeasurable happiness to his life.

His love for music, deep conversations about the word of God, and his cherished relationship with his family were the pillars that shaped his spirit. Shay leaves behind his siblings Alonzo D. Anderson, A'licia J. Allen, Solomon C. Grassi, and Dwayne A. Woods, along with a host of extended family members, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

A Homegoing Celebration will be held on May 31, 2023 at Edwards Funeral Service located at 1166 Parsons Avenue, Columbus, OH 43206, at 1:00 PM, with a visitation starting at 12:00 PM.

Shay's memory will forever be treasured by those whose lives he touched with his warmth, kindness, and love for God and family. May he rest in eternal peace.
