Billie Jean Parham

Billie Jean Parham, age 66, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2015 in Columbus, OH. She was born to William and Barbara Jean Link on April 7, 1948 in Columbus, OH.

Billie attended and graduated from Columbus City Schools. Billie married Percy Parham and they were blessed with three children: Anthony, Percy and Hollie.

She worked for many years as a State Tested Nurses Assistance (STNA) at Lutheran Village before leaving the workforce to become a full-time homemaker.

Billie attended Central Seventh-day Adventist church where she was a founding member. She enjoyed attending Prayer Meeting and served as a Deaconess for many years.

Her pastimes included spending time with her grandchildren and spreading awareness of organ and tissue donation for Lifeline Ohio with her daughter Hollie.

Billie was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Jean Willis; stepfather, James Willis; husband, Percy Parham, Sr.; brothers: Martin L. Willis and Richard L. Willis.

She is survived by her father, William Link, Sr.; daughters: Hollie Parham and Denise (Andre) Tanyhill; sons: Percy (Deanna)Parham, Jr., Dennis Link and Anthony (Keyla) Parham; brothers: William (Sharon) Link, Jr., Wardell (Donna) Link, Melvin (Gail) Link, Wesley Willis and Andre Link; sisters: Marlene Link, Teresa (Richard) Prince, Arnethia (Robert) Pope, and Melissa Link; sister-in-law, Carolyn West; close friend Lawrence Laws, 10 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
