Bobby R. Murphy

Bobby R. Murphy, long term resident of Columbus, passed away in his Southside home Wednesday, February 3rd 2021. Born May 31,1944 in Oppy KY, Bob was a veteran of the armed forces and a retired government employee.

He is preceded in death by his parents Troy and Bernice Murphy, son Terry Murphy, and sister Rosa Faye (Arthur) Endicott.

Survived by his wife of over 50 years, Wanda Murphy, Daughter Lesia (Patrick) Murphy, Son Paul (Alison) Farrow; his grandchildren Julia Hardin, Gaven Murphy, James(Lauren) Murphy, Melissa Murphy, Freddie Farrow, Barney Farrow, Teara Hunter; his great-grandchildren Lincoln (Link) Murphy, Bentley Sword, Leland Sword, Jace Sword, Lincoln Sword; his siblings Barbara (LACY) Marcum, Grover (Ailene)Murphy, Eddie (Wanda) Murphy, Della (Bradley)Mccoy, Sylvia (Jackie)Johnson, Troy (Shelbie)Murphy, Patty Murphy, and David Murphy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
