Brisco “BJ” Morgan Jr., 35 years old was born September 22, 1986, in Canton, OH. Brisco made his peaceful transition to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at OSU Ross Heart Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.
Brisco was reunited with his parents, Thelma “Punkin” Keith Dikerson and Brisco Joey Morgan Sr.; niece, Nayomee Renee Pryor; grandfather, Asberry Scott; grandfather and grandmother, Perry Lee and Jean Morgan; and uncle, Durad Keith.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Katosha Steward; four children: sons, Brisco Morgan III and Kamden Morgan, daughters, Princess Geneva Morgan and Kayleanna Morgan; six stepchildren: step-daughters, Kecsia Steward, Ke’nya Steward, and Kemya Steward, step-sons, Kemarion Steward, Kayden Steward, and Kayson Steward; five siblings: sisters, Yalena Smith and Mashane Taylor Keith, Daviana Keith, and Domique Morgan, brother, Lazarus McCray; grandmother, Ruth Marie Keith; aunt, Eunice Martina Keith; uncles, Harrison Keith, Charles Keith Sr., and Kevin Keith.
Brisco accepted Christ at an early age. He loved life and he has the faith in God to change his life. Brisco was an intelligent and talented man. Everything he did, he did with passion. He credited the Lord for his life to many careers. Over the span of his life, he was a janitor, construction worker, welder mechanic, stna, but the one he enjoyed the most was driving semi-trucks. Brisco worked as a janitor to pay for his tuition. He graduated at roadmaster with a commercial driver’s license. He always dreamed as a child to become a truck driver. He drove semi-trucks across the nation. He loved sharing his career with his family. It allowed them to explore much of the United States together.
“He was a loving man” His world revolved around his family. He had a great work ethic. He constantly set an example as a hardworking family man. He sacrificed everything for his family. Brisco loved playing video games, music, fishing, reading the Bible, and teaching others the Word. He also enjoyed traveling and experiencing new things. He loved watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and witnessing to others about Christ.
The family invites you to Brisco's funeral service on Friday, September 16, 2022 at Edwards Funeral Service - 1166 Parsons Ave., Columbus, Ohio 43206. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM, with the service to immediately follow at 3:00 PM.
