Bryan Sinclair Whitfield

b. January 23, 1973

BRYAN SINCLAIR WHITFIELD , 44, passed away on Sunday, March12, 2017, after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was born on January 23, 1973 in Columbus, OH to Linda (Hardy) Whitfield Saunders and James D. Whitfield Sr. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Jesse James Hardy and Irene "Olivia" Hardy; paternal grandparents, Richard Cook and Leasie Whitfield; and cousin Shanavia Whitfield.

He is survived by both parents and seven brothers and sisters: James Whitfield, Baron Whitfield, Larisa Whitfield, Chanel Miller(Warner), Omalique Whitfield, Joshah Whitfield(Morgan), Khalyssah Whitfield; and a host of special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Bryan was studying and associated with Jehovah's Witnesses and had firm conviction in the the fulfillment of John 5: 28, 29 and Revelation 21:3, 4. We anxiously await the time when we will see him again.

Bryan was affectionately known as "Money B" by those closest to him! He was very caring and loving. He was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys Fan! Yep..He was one of dem' boys! Not only a Cowboy for life but the second oldest of four boys and an integral part of the dynamic eight! Bryan was born in Columbus, Ohio but Mobile, Alabama, with his Uncle Monroe and his Southern spiritual and fleshly family was his home... and he didn't mind letting you know that.

Cancer took his life but not his spirit and will to live. He battled cancer at every turn. He was determined and relentless! He was in it to win it! He was always down for a good spades game and he was one of the best there was at it (Irene Hardy taught him that)! He was adored and loved in life and he will be greatly missed in death!

A service will be held at 12 Noon on April 1st. Edwards Funeral Service, 1166 Parsons Ave, where family will receive guests beginning at 11 AM.
