On September 13, 2012 at 5:55 pm the pearly gates opened to end pain and accept another beautiful angel into heaven. Cathy Orahood Johnson lost her 13 month battle with lung cancer. She is survived by her husband, Nick Johnson; children Delaina Huy and Nickie Johnson; parents Ives and Gene Orahood; brothers, Gary Marge, David Lisa, Terry Teresa and Doug Patti; 12 grandchildren and numerous family and friends. She was preceded in death by son, Eric Johnson. Cathy did not want us to morn for her empty shell but rather celebrate the life of an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt. So there will be no good-bye ceremony only a life celebration. Family is requesting donations be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society for Lung Cancer Research.
