Obituary
Charles Georg, age 89, of Johnstown, PA, died Sunday, January 17, 2016, at Otterbein Skilled Nursing and Rehab in Gahanna, OH. He served in the Army during WWII and the Korean War.
He was the son of the late Clarence and Edith Georg. He is survived by his wife Joan of 66 years; three daughters; Minda (John) Bickley, Beverly (Tony)Gugliotta, and Diane (Keith)Wassum; 6 grandchildren; Jenny(Neale), Amy(Ben), Jill(Sam), Kate(Matt), Jessie and Allie: eight great grandchildren; Reef, Brody, Mae, Finn, Emory, Bailey, Mollie and Thomas; along with his brother Bill and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday January 23, 2016 at Peace Lutheran Church 455 Clark State Road, Gahanna, OH beginning at 11 am where family will accept friends beginning at 10am. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Gahanna Special Olympics, c/o Angel Weimer, 1128 Black Glod Pl, Gahanna, OH 43230. Checks made out to Gahanna Special Olympics.
