After a long a battle with cancer, Chuckie peacefully passed at home with his sister Beulah at his side. Chuckie was born September 7, 1949 to the late Beulah and Charles W Newton Sr. He was a graduate of Linden McKinley High School.
Chuckie last worked for the City of Columbus until his health declined, He was a huge fan of the Cleveland Browns and the Buckeyes. Chuckie had a beautiful voice and was able to share it with the choir at The National Church Residences Adult Day Care for four years. He leaves to mourn four siblings, John Madison, Mary Bivens, Ronald Newton, Beulah Robinson, and a host of grand and great grands who will miss their pawpaw and many many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by infant daughter, Tiffany Newton and sisters, Delores Richberg, Jo-Ann Madison. From two marriages were born Kimberly and Katrina Newton, Tiffany and Charles Newton III
He will be missed by long standing friends David Mathis, Alvin Blakely, and Lamarr Winfield. A Special Thank You to Nephews Dewayne T. Madison and James (Tre) Norvet III. Along with Caring Heart Agency and Greystone Hospice.
