Columbus, OH

Cl Wallace, born October 22nd, 1981, born to late parents Lenda K Wallace and LC Wallace. A loving father, husband, brother, and friend peacefully passed on June 8th, 2022. Lighthearted, humorous, and always fun spirited; his memories will be cherished and presence missed by many.

CL’s journey began in Palestine, Texas on October 22nd, 1981; the second youngest child to Lenda K Wallace and LC Wallace. When CL was still young, Lenda relocated their small family from Texas to Columbus, OH, where CL would spend his childhood, grow up, make many lifelong friends, and go to school. Although Ohio became his long-term residence, he was very proud to be a Texas native rooting on his favorite football team, Dallas Cowboys, every game and cherishing the moment he met his favorite player, Emmitt Smith. His passions included traveling, gaming, collecting artillery chess, photography, riding his motorcycle, and listening to music on the loudest speakers he could get his hands on. Columbus is where he would meet the love of his life, Denise Wallace. CL and Denise had a whirlwind romance and married on April 6, 2006; sharing some of their most treasured moments together. Traveling the country, cruising the city on their motorcycles, or simply appreciating each other’s company only delivers a small glimpse of their eternal love for each other. A jack of all trades, CL owned and operated a cleaning business and electronic wholesale business. His former education comes from East High school obtaining his GED. A devoted husband and phenomenal father he dedicated every day to providing unconditional love and support to his family, friends, and close loved ones. His grand children were his heart and joy. There’s no denying that, his grand babies as he called them, captured a special spot in his world. CL always made it a priority to be authentic to himself and live life to the fullest, his legacy will be
continued, and the impact he had our lives cherished everlastingly.

Cl leaves to cherish his memories, His wife Denise Wallace; Two daughters Alaycha and Canaycha of Columbus, OH. Three Sons Elijha, Hezeikha, and CL Jr of Columbus, OH. Nine grandchildren. Two sisters Kimberly Rayson and Gloria K Wallace of Longview Texas. One brother Sigmond Rayson of Columbus, OH. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and loved ones that he loved unconditionally.

He is proceeded in death by his parents. Son, CL Wallace Jr. and Sister, Kim Rayson. Loved ones that cleared the path for CL are his father LC Wallace and Lenda K Wallace. Son, CL Wallace Jr. Nephew Tyler Wallace and Sister Kimberly Rayson.
