Doris M. Day, 92, of Sunbury, following a long illness. She lived a full and active life and was involved with many clubs?books, research, gardening, camping, sports and music. She was a vocalist and organist for many years at the Condit Presbyterian Church and at her church in Sarasota, Florida, where she wintered for 17 years. She also managed a farm, was a bookkeeper with a savings and loan, and then became a real estate agent along with her surviving brother, Wendell Juanita Davidson of Sunbury. She is pre-deceased by her parents, Cliff and Maye Davidson; her husband Wendell; a dearly loved son Terry Day D.D.S.; four precious granddaughters Pam Lon McSherley, Kim, Deborah, and Rachel Day; and three siblings Roland, Leland, and Kathleen. Survivors include daughter Shirley Eugene D.V.M. Alessio; son Rick; six grandchildren?Scott Heather Day, Lisa Kevin McClary, Tyler Day, Lino and Gino Alessio, and Cheryl Jim Ortlieb; six great-grandchildren?Stevie and Mark McClary, Erik and Ryan Day and Greg and Jerry Gaydos; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Frank Hill Funeral Home in Westerville, Sunday, 4 to 7pm, where funeral service will follow at 7 o?clock; Reverend Andrew Hoover officiating. Interment at Trenton Twp.
