Dorothy Arlene Thompson

Dorothy Arlene Thompson, 53, was born in Columbus, Ohio to the late Patti Thompson Jones and Vernon Miller on February 13, 1960. She passed away surrounded by her loving family on February 4, 2014. Left to honor her memory are her Daughter, Brianna Murray of Columbus, Ohio; Brothers, Curtis Shawna Thompson of Columbus, Ohio, Bernard Thompson of Columbus, Ohio, Vernon Miller II of Columbus, Ohio and David Miller of Toledo, Ohio; many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and friends. Dorothy was preceded in death by her Daughter, Rhaniesha Murray, Parents, Patti Thompson Jones and Vernon Miller; Brothers, Vernon Thompson and Greg Miller. Dorothy was a very powerful, kind-hearted woman who loved her family and her daughter with all her heart. She was wise in her opinions and advice. Everything she did had a meaning to it and she only wanted the best for her family. Dorothy was truly a peacemaker. She will be remembered for her love of word search puzzles and doll making. Dorothy was truly loved and will be greatly missed. Services will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 2:00PM at the Chapel of Edwards Funeral Service, 1166 Parsons Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43206 where family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00PM.
