Dwan A. Reese Sr.

Dwan A. Reese, 46, passed on September 26, 2022, in Columbus, Ohio. Dwan was born on March 27, 1976, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Jacqueline Reese, Tony Green, and Stepmother Darlene Green.

Dwan is Survived by his Son, Dwan Reese Jr.; Daughters: Dayshia Reese, Diamonique Reese, Dynasty Reese, and Step daughter Shamel Gross; Grandchildren: Cherish Wooden, Charod Wooden, Carter Herrington, Harlem Herrington, Dream Herrington, and Mazi Smith; Sisters: Dwanda Rees and Deaveny Reese; Brothers: Tony Reese, Darrelle Reese, Dominic Green, and Darius Green.

Dwan was raised by his father, Tony Green, and Stepmother Darlene Green. Dwan, over the years, was able to build a relationship with his mother, whom he was determined to find as a teen. Dwan loved his parents dearly and their leaving him affected him. At 18 years old Dwan received his GED, married Carkeshia Norah, and took her daughter, Shamel Gross, as his own. On Dwan’s 20th Birthday, his first child was born, Dayshia Reese, following 11 months later, his daughter Diamonique Reese, son Dwan Reese Jr., and his youngest, the baby, Dynasty Reese. Dwan and Carkeshia separated, and both went their own ways in life.

A few years after separating from Carkeshia, Dwan found himself attending HVAC school, always willing to learn something new. Dwan loved reading and spent a lot of his time with his children at the library. As time went on, Dwan found his passion in remodeling bathrooms, working with his brothers, Tony Reese and Dominic Reese. Dwan loved his children and had hopes that the relationships would be better. Dwan loved his family and friends who accepted him for who he was. Dwan will be remembered for his corny jokes, uniqueness, intelligence, and intellectual mind.

I love you Daddy, forever and always. You will be missed by many.
