Eldon C. Allen, 87, passed away on August 12, 2012 at his residence.
He was born May 8, 1925 in Clendenin, W.Va.
He was an Navy veteran during WW II, retired after over 30 years with GM and 15 years with Medco/Crazy Glue. He played music with several stars and Bud Henderson and the Gospel Echo's and also gave lessons. He later gave his life to the Lord and only played Gospel music. Even with his illnesses he was able to play the fiddle and other string instruments.
Survived by his wife, Linda Adams Allen; daughters, Teresa Mark Wagner and Kim Ron Gearheart; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his son, Rich Allen and parents.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
