Frances J. Body, 79, formerly of Coshocton, died at the Heath Nursing Care Center November 16, 2015. Frances was born July 2, 1936, in Kyle, WV to the late Addie and Ralph Washington. She married the late Charlie Body on March 5, 1958. Frances was a longtime member of St. Andrews AME Church. She retired from the Coshocton City school system in 1995. She spent her remaining years caring for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Frances is survived by two sons: Charles Body of Columbus, and Donnell Body of Thornville; four daughters: Beatrice Rheins of Newark, Charlene Young of Clinton, MS, Linda Hopkins of Waynesburg, PA and Jacqueline Knapik of Columbus; four brothers: Johnnie Chatman of Columbus, OH, David Chatman of Gainesville, FL, Samuel Chatman of Ashtabula and Duane Washington of Detroit, MI; seven sisters: Pauline Nance of Cleveland, Mildred Evans, Jeanette Rheins and Ida Gail Henry of Ashtabula, Flora Gibson of Euclid, Janice Matthews and Paula Washington of Detroit, MI; 20 grandchildren and 45 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, her son, Kenneth; daughter Gwendolyn Bachert, two brothers, one granddaughter, one grandson and one great granddaughter. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 21, 2015, at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, with Rev. Clifford Biggers officiating. Special thanks to Heath Nursing Care Center.
