Gary Stuart Carson

Gary Stuart Carson, 68, of Columbus, OH died November 15, 2014. Gary, son of the late S. Robert and Naomi Heard Carson, loving father of Victoria Carson Peeples, and Theodore Carson Sr. passed away on November 15th at his home in Columbus, OH. Gary leaves to mourn: his children, Victoria Wayne and Theodore Samantha; brothers and sister: Kenneth Linda, Clifford, Lawrence Stacey, Wanda Carson Cathcart James, Aunt Erma Heard, Family Friend, Reathel Carson Scott, Special Friend, Lori Moyer and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Gary loved the Lord and accepted Christ at an early age. He was an active member of New Life Methodist Church. Armed with his love for the Word he was always finding ways to recruit souls to bring to Christ. Gary was blessed with the gift of "gab" and never met a stranger. His quick wit coupled with a concern for people enabled him to reach out to everyone he met, as he captured their attention with his infectious smile and personality. Gary graduated from Whitehall High School in 1964. Gary received a B.S. in Administration from Wilberforce University in 1989. Gary also loved working as a Paralegal and pursued this career up until the time of his passing. Gary was committed to his church and family, and both were very important to him. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held 11 AM Wednesday November 19, at Edwards Funeral Service, 1166 Parsons Avenue, Columbus, OH. Interment at Union Cemetery
