IRAS was born October 14, 1943 in CHICAGO, IL to HARRISON ANDERSON and MARY ANDERSON.
She was the first African American woman in Chicago to drive an 18 wheel truck for CCA Corporation in 1973
She graduated from Sangamon State University a B.A. May 12, 1990
She is survived by five Children: Joseph H Pierce, Catherine M. Pierce, Rhonda Lawrence, Lemont Pierce Jr., Milco M Posey, Two sisters; Venita Smith, and Janet Anderson
She is preceded in death by a son, Marcus Johnson, both parents, four brothers, one sister
A Service will be held at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Edwards Funeral Service, 1166 Parsons Ave., where Family will accept friends from 10:00 AM until time of service
