Irene A. Dickson

Irene A. Dickson of Columbus was transported up on December 5, 2013. Irene lived a full wonderful life on this earth. Irene was preceded in death in September 1983 by her husband Eugene G. Dickson. While earth bound she enjoyed her children; Marc Karen Dickson, Phillip Mendez, and Marian Dickson, all of whom will miss her smile, laugh and teachings about life on earth and what to expect in the great beyond. She was blessed by her grandchildren; Mindy Alan Moore, Angela Erik Schlieman, Michael Dickson, and Farijah Deanna St Clair, plus her two great grandsons; Logan age 6 and Connor age 1 Schlieman and her two great granddaughters; Aaralynn age 7 and Kylah age 4 St Clair. Born at Johns Hopkins University Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland on May 26, 1930 to Howard and Mollie Myers, "Baby Myers", as registered on her birth certificate, lived in the Baltimore and Washington, D.C., areas most of her life before moving to Columbus in 1971. Once a Buckeye she never looked back to her days along the east coast; a testament to all Buckeyes being a hard nut to crack. Irene will be remembered and missed by everyone she touched. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Mt Carmel Hospice Unit whose unselfish and professional services were so comforting and important to Irene and her family during this difficult time. Viewing and visitation will be held at Edwards Funeral Service, 1166 Parsons Ave, Columbus, OH 43206, from 1pm to 2pm on Monday, December 9, 2013.
