Jaleyah Lauren Alexander

Jaleyah Lauren Alexander was born on December 6th, 2000 and passed away on July 19th,
2022. She is adored by her father Jef rey, mother LaFreda, sisters Dorinda, Tatiyana &
DeAjanay, brother DeVantè, grandmother Mattie, loving husband Daniel and their
fur-babies Foxy & Shadow.

Jaleyah grew up in Columbus, OH and graduated from Columbus Downtown High School. She
believed that you should live life to the fullest. She was a lover of board games, nerf guns,
amusement parks, giraf es, and seafood.

Growing up Jaleyah was known for being kind, sweet and being a honest person. She was
fierce, strong minded and believed that everyone should be treated equally. She especially
enjoyed living in Florida and spending time at the beach

Jaleyah was always a ball of sunshine with her contagious smile. She was known for making
everyone she knew laugh with her funny stories and questions. Jaleyah enjoyed traveling,
dancing (though she was awkward), eating Chipotle, finding new ways to do her hair,
mastering a new recipe, doing her nails, being a dog-mom and spending time with her family.

Jaleyah was loved by many and will continue to live on through the memories of those that
loved her. Jaleyah will be truly missed and may her beautiful soul rest in peace.

The family is requesting friends and family for calling hours from 10 AM – 11:30 AM, Wednesday July 27, at Edwards Funeral Service 1166 Parsons Ave., with the service beginning between 11:30 AM. Burial will immediately follow the service at Green Lawn Cemetery, 1000 Greenlawn Ave. Columbus, Ohio, 43223.
