James Clarence Cooper Jr., 60 of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on August 1, 2019 in Canal Winchester, Ohio.
James was born in York, Alabama to James Cooper sir. & Annie Cooper Robinson on July 10, 1959. He attended high school at Mohawk High school and graduated in 1977.
He worked as a contract roofer for step-fathers business Robinson Roofing for 10 years. He enjoyed fishing with family in Buckeye Lake, Ohio. In addition to, being a true lover of sports, during football season chanting on The Ohio State Buckeyes football team.
James is survived by his Mother, Annie Cooper Robinson, of Columbus. Nephew, Randy Cooper, of Columbus. Uncle, Sunny Copper, of York Alabama. Aunt, Dorothy Smith, of Chicago. Aunt, Edith Scott of Pensacola. Aunt, Geneva Brown of Austin. Great-Niece, Ashley Thompson, of Columbus. James is preceded in death by his father, James Cooper Sr. and Sister, Gloria Anne Cooper Diggs.
Funeral service will be held at Edward Funeral Service on August 23, 2019 at 3:00. Gathering will be held at Edward Funeral Service on August 23, 2019 at 2:00. Edward Funeral Service will be handling all funeral arrangements.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff of Winchester Care and Rehabilitation and Hospice Care. A special blessing to nurse Gayla for providing exceptional care for James, thank you for your love and patience throughout the years
