John Jerome Jordan

John Jerome Jordan, 69, died July 18, 2016 in Columbus, OH

He was born June 11, 1947 in Mansfield, OH to the late Catherine and Garth Jordan

He is survived by his loving wife, Leona Jordan; his two siblings, Tom Jordan and Vivian Bartolucci; his caring children, Joshua (Megan) Jordan, Jessica (Mike) Chapman, and Becky Jordan; his grandchildren, Madison, Grace, Dane, Jackson, and Parker.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Catherine and Garth Jordan; and his two siblings, Danny and Gretchen.

He loved watching cartoons on Saturday mornings with his children. He loved working bingo at the church and enjoyed eating at Jay's York Steak House.

He loved helping out the Briggs High School Band and the kids that were in the band he welcomed them in our home with open arms and treated them like they were his own.

John Jordan was a proud veteran of the United States Navy where he served in the Vietnam War.

He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held July 29th at 10 A.M. at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 473 S. Roys Ave. An interment to follow at Dayton National Cemetery where friends and family are welcome to attend 4100 W. 3rd St. Dayton, Ohio (1 hour trip) for a full military burial at 3pm (exactly).

The family would love to see all of you and hope you can make it and make it very special for us.

We ask if you feel the need to send flowers, we prefer donations to a Parkinson, Alzheimer or Hospice Charity in Dad's name. Thank you again for all your support and love. It has helped a ton. Any questions, feel free to text/call/PM me.
