John Rick McGraw

John Rick McGraw, 38, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at Adena Regional Medical Center.

He was born February 7, 1981 to Rick and Kathy (Henneberger) McGraw, both of Chillicothe. John was full-of-life, known for his humor, and loved music. You could usually catch him strumming on his guitar to serenade others, especially his children, whom he loved dearly.

John was a lifelong resident of Chillicothe and was a graduate of Paint Valley Local Schools.

He is survived by a host of family and friends, including his mother, Kathryn, and his father Rick (Jeanne). His children Victoria, Alyssa, and Conner, his little brother Michael, sister Christina (Nate), his paternal grandparents John and Jan McGraw, and the mother of his children, Amanda Fields.

John was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Ellsworth and Pearl (nee Newman) Henneberger and good friend, Danny Zsebik.

A celebration of life for John will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
