Joseph Nathan Reese Jr

With heavy hearts and profound sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved Joseph Nathan Reese Jr. Passed on February 9, 2025 at the age of 29 years old in his sleep. He left this world too soon, leaving behind a void that words cannot fill and a love that will forever remain in our hearts.

Joseph was a vibrant soul, full of curiosity and passion. He was born in Milwaukee, WI. Joseph was baptized in Jesus Christ's name at 12 years old at New Hope Victory Temple in Milwaukee. He started his college life at University of Wisconsin Milwaukee then transferred to UW Stevens Point where he completed 2 years. After leaving college he lived a large portion of his life in Colorado. He found joy in traveling, gaming, and music, embracing every experience with excitement and wonder. A natural strategist, he loved to challenge his mind and explore new perspectives. Whether in the kitchen experimenting with flavors or sharing laughter with family and friends, Joseph had a way of bringing warmth and happiness to those around him. His sense of humor was infectious, his smile unforgettable, and his spirit unbreakable. 

Joseph was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by his mother, Obrellia T. Davis, and his sisters, Darcel Hill, Tawanna Fabré, and O'Sheá Johnson. Grandmother, Willie Mae Davis.  

Father, Joseph Nathan Reese Sr., and Stepmother Naquita Reese and his brother Jovian and Josiah Reese, and sisters Jasmine and Jirah Reese. Grandmother Cheryl Reese.  

His legacy of love and laughter lives on through a host of nieces, nephews, family, and dear friends who were blessed to know him. 

Though our hearts ache with his absence, we take comfort in knowing that Joseph’s journey continues beyond this world. His light will never fade, his laughter will echo in our memories, and his love will remain in the fabric of our lives forever. 

Rest in love, Joseph. You will always be remembered, cherished, and missed beyond measure. 

The Cremation and Memorial services will be held at Families First Cremation and Funeral at Edwards, 1166 Parsons Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43206 on February 15, 2025 at 3-5:30 pm. Visitation will begin at 3pm to the time of the service. Repass will start at 6pm.
