Joseph "Marty" Marvin Wathen, 84, passed away June 19, 2016 in Columbus, Ohio.
He was born April 17, 1932 in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late Joseph and Anise Wathen.
Joseph is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Anise (Basham) Wathen; his brother Jim; his sister Kathryn; his loving wife Wilma (Elliott) Wathen.
Joseph is survived by his sister Margaret (Wathen) Hancock (Charleston, West Virginia), his brother William (Sheila) Wathen (Owensboro, Kentucky) step-children, Kristel (Gary) Ferris (Sherwood, Oregon), Rebecca (Ronnie) Sylvis (Delaware, Ohio), and Thomas R. Webb (Goldbar, Washington); grandchildren, Rachel, Richard, Amanda, April, David, Daniel, Rebekah; nephews, Michael Scott, Willie, Brenda (Michael), Debbie (Eddie), David (Tonya), and various great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, family and friends.
He will be greatly missed.
