Joy Faye Mattox

Joy Faye Mattox, 58, passed away on November 29, 2021 surrounded by family. Joy was born on January 20, 1963 to the late Asey and Bonnie (Bevins) Mosley in Williamson, West Virginia.

Joy was known for her love of her kids, grandkids, family, and many friends. She enjoyed going to Bingo, the Casino, taking drives, and teasing her grandkids. She also loved  watching movies, playing Yahtzee, and most of all talking to her sisters on the phone – all night!!!

Joy was preceded in death by her parents, Asey and Bonnie; Norma Kaye, Cierra, and Marissakaye.

Those missing her passing are her boyfriend of 20+ years Buck; her daughters and sons Bonnie, Melissa, Martin, Felicia, David, and Annette; her sisters and brothers Vickie, Drema, Phyllis, Asey Jr, Timothy, Billy, Easter, and Lisa; her grandkids Jitta, Jahniyah, Jahnine, Seanna, Anthony, Reanna, Mikey, Charles, Gino,  Brandon, Dominick, Kaylie, Dale, and Larrissa; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation is from 9 AM -12 PM Monday December 6, 2021 at Edwards Funeral Service, 1166 Parsons Ave., Columbus 43206. Service immediately following at 12 noon at the funeral home. Burial will be after the service at St. Josephs Cemetery in Lockbourne, Ohio.
