LARRY ELWOOD LANDERS II, age 48, born on Lockbourne AFB October 10th 1968 who passed away at Mt Carmel Medical Center West on March 23rd 2017 after a six weeks battle with pancreatic cancer. Larry was the holder of three IBO World Championships and seven National titles. He was a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation and a participant in the Wheelin' Sportsman Program. He is survived by his parents Larry and Patricia Landers, two brothers Wayne Landers and Brian (Angie) Landers and his sister, Mrs. Cheralyn (Matthew) Corlett, three nephews Seth Corlett, Brian Landers, Tyler Peebles and two nieces Janet Landers and Shannon Corlett all of Columbus, Ohio and many Aunts, cousins and relatives.
Our family would like to express our deepest thanks to everyone for their support and genuine caring for Larry in his last hours. Including the Wheeling' Sportsman's Broc Spears who introduced Larry to archery becoming his close friend and mentor. Matt at 30-06, Frank and Threesa at Velocity Archery Range, Mark at Fisherman's Warehouse, all the folks at the Apache Archery Club and all of his numerous friends. With special mention of Raul; a budding young archer who became Larry's protAC.gAC.. Whom he predicted would take The 2017 World Championship in his division.
Services will be held at Edwards Funeral Service at 1166 Parsons Ave. Columbus Ohio on Tuesday April 11, 2017 Visitation from 10am to 12pm with funeral following and internment at Fernwood Cemetery, Lockbourne Ohio
