Larry F Pollock, 77 of Chillicothe, died at 5:50 PM on Sunday, September 19 2021 at Rhodes Hall, Wexner Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio. He was born May 8, 1944 in Ross County, the son of the late George A and Bernice “Nellie” Parrett Pollock.
On August 12, 1965, he married the former Donna J Detty, who survives. Also surviving are his children Larry (Marilyn) Pollock of Beaver, Keith (Michelle)Pollock of Chillicothe, Kimberly (Roger) Dixon Jr. of Bainbridge, Patricia Hall of Lancaster and Ryan (Roseanne) Pollock of Greenfield. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, a sister Sue (Dave) Shoults of Chillicothe. He was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Smith, a brother, George Pollock Jr. and a Grandson, Justin Pollock.
Larry graduated from Frankfort High School where he played basketball. He loved telling stories about all of his adventures in life. He loved to fish, play basketball, walk, talk, and drink his beer. He knew no stranger; he would talk to anybody. He loved life everyday and thought everyday was a beautiful day. He loved watching the Reds, no matter how bad they were playing and always rooted for “Th Buckeyes.” Due to Covid, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
