Lucille Mitchell Dotson Born Oct. 25th, 1919 in Columbus Mississippi to Ollie Mae Price and Bishop Willie Dotson, went peacefully home on Feb. 23rd, 2010, at her own home.
Survived by four children: Alphonso Charlene Jordan; Meredith N. Gerald Taylor; Michael Mitchell, and Frederick Mitchell, Grand children: Deborah Carl Medley, Leslie Tony Joiner, Alphonso Flournoy, Gerald L. Cheri Taylor Jr., Shalen Mayo, and several great nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by: Husband, James P. Mitchell; daughter, Muriel Jordan; son, James W. Jimmy Mitchell.
Mom was a long-time member of Victorious Redeemer Full Gospel Church, 1403 E. Main St. where the service will be held 1 PM Friday, family receiving friends at Noon. Pastor Hunter will preside over the going home service.
