Makhy Raymond Lee Andrews, affectionately called “Booh Bah”, was born in Columbus, OH on October 10, 2006, to Demetris Chukes and Shanique Andrews. On June 3, 2022, Makhy gained his angel wings.
Makhy attended Westerville Central High School. As a young adult, Makhy was very athletic. He was an exceptionally skilled football player loved by his teammates and coaches. Makhy played football for BLM, and he also played football and basketball for Worthington McCord Middle School. Makhy looked forward to playing in High School. He enjoyed playing Ping Pong, and he was a member of the chess club at Devonshire Elementary.
Makhy loved spending time with his brothers, dancing, shopping, and making music with his friends. Makhy’s smile lit up the room. He had a big heart and gregarious personality.
Makhy is preceded in death by great-great-great-grandparents Milton and Willie Mae Rosemond; great-great-grandfather John Raymond Dawson; great-great-uncle William Randolph Rosemond; uncle Marquell Raymond Lee Andrews; and cousin Michael Teewan Dawson.
Celebrating his life and cherishing his memory includes his loving mother Shanique Andrews and father Demetris Chukes; stepdad Larry Justice III; great-great-grandma Peggy Winifred Dawson; Granny Gram; Veronica Andrews; great-grandparents Paul Gregory Evergin and Sandy (Martin) Whitfield; grandparents Monica (Steve) Brown, Lenore (Treg) Milner-Lee, and Dequanto Lamar Berry; brothers Lavhon Justice, Larry Justice IV, and Demetris Que’je Allen Chukes; sisters Skylar Nicole Chukes and Payten Kay Chukes; aunts Marquisha Roxanne Andrews, Au-Juvan Alexis Andrews, and Linda (Martina) McNeil; uncles Marvin Lee Groves, Jr., Lavante Justice, Dominique Chukes, Doneto Berry, Shawn (Van) Berry, and Joeron (Boo) McDonald; godmother Tamara Katrina Oliver; special cousins Michael D. Dawson and Michael Dawson; special friends Baron Anderson, Ju’elz McDonald, Ricky Tillman, and Devin Bannister; girlfriend Johnisha Royster; and many more aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family is requesting friends and family to come to Trinity Baptist Church, 461 St. Clair St., Columbus, Ohio on June 15, 2022 for Calling hours from 10 AM to 11 AM. Service will immediately follow at 11 AM at the church. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Masks will be required at Trinity Baptist.
