Mark Montgomery

Mark Montgomery, 55 of Beaver passed away peacefully at his daughter's home in Columbus on the evening of February 11th. He was born in Waverly on July 25th, 1961, was raised in Beaver, attended Eastern H.S., and was a huge Cleveland Browns fan. Mark was preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Angeline, his brother Gordon, and his sister Jeanette. He is survived by his long-time girlfriend Debbie O'Neal of Latham, his daughters Rachael (Robert) Vance of Columbus, Donyiel Montgomery of Beaver, and Marty Montgomery of Columbus. Mark was the grandfather ("Pop-pop") to 8 grandchildren: Mykia (Phil) Coleman, Christopher Montgomery, Logan Montgomery, Noah Hale, Issac Montgomery, Tobias Montgomery, Caleb Hale, Abigail Vance, and one unborn great-grandson Ezra Coleman. He is also survived by 4 brothers: Robert (Carol), Warnie, Seburn, & Patrick, and 4 sisters: Linda (Roger) Schutte, Barbara (Derry) Parks, Stacey Montgomery, and Stefanie Montgomery, as well as many loving nieces and nephews, and countless friends and acquaintances. Mark was an unforgettable man who touched the lives of many. There will be a celebration of his life held at Waverly Church of Christ 100 David Road at 2:00 pm on Saturday February 18th. The family asks for no flowers to be sent.
