On December 29th, 2021, Martha “Ann” Dill entered heaven and was reunited with her devoted husband of 74 years, Dean. Born June 17, 1924, to her parents William and Lottie (Ott) Petrie, she lived in the Columbus and Sunbury, Ohio areas. As one of 12 children, her adoration for family and friends was apparent in all she did. She knew no stranger and her door was always open. A moment spent with Ann revealed her faith and salvation in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Ann was very active in her church and molded many lives through the years as a group leader and Sunday school teacher. Her family knew she had a hotline to heaven; she prayed, and mountains moved. Ann further touched lives as a nurse. She met her husband while working in an ENT office. Later in life, many more came to know her as the local realtor, and a member of HER’s Million Dollar Club. Known to her grandkids as ‘Meme’, she was their biggest fan. She spent countless hours cheering them on from the stands. Ann loved the Gaithers, piano tunes, puzzles, fishing, playing dominos, and was barefoot whenever possible. Until we meet again, her zest for life and ever positive attitude will live on through all who knew her.
Preceded in death by her husband, Lewis “Dean” Dill; son, James Lee Petrie; sister, Joellen Petrie; and brothers and sister-in-law, Jacque, Joe, Tom (Inez), Dave, Bill, and Paul Petrie.
