Saturday, March 28, 2015 Marilyn was escorted by Angels to Heaven's Gate to meet her Savior and greeted by the love of her life, her beloved Russell. Preceded in death to join her father and mother, brother Robert Bates, and many special friends. Leaving her cherished children Russell, Mark, Lynn, and Michelle Corpron; grandchildren Austin and Erin Corpron, Aubrie (Felipe)Mejia, Emma Vallo, Kameron Early; Great Grandchildren Jesse, Kassie and Lucas. Marilyn was a beautiful soul inside and out born May 6, 1931 and raised in Columbus, she graduated from Linden Mckinley High School, she was an avid dancer, she enjoyed going to Valley Dale, she worked at the Ohio State University Hospital for over thirty years as an EKG technician, she was a member of Grace Brethren Church , and she spent time with family and friends. Marilyn will be missed but we know," ... to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord and He will wipe every tear from their eyes...and there will be no more pain." The family would like to thank Whetstone Care Center for be-friending Marilyn and treating her like family in her home away from home. Special thanks to Homereach Hospice for their care and support.
