Michael Guy Mitchell

Michael Guy Mitchell born October 3rd, 1961 sadly passed away Saturday August 21, 2021. He grew up in Gahanna, moved to Carroll, and went to Bloom Carroll High School. Met Kim France they married and had 2 children, Melody Elizabeth and Michael Jason. Had 5 grandchildren who would call him Dude and he loved them very much.

When he had free time he worked with Jim France as a skilled carpenter. He loved going fishing and hanging out with his brother Marvin “Glenn.” He loved being outdoors. He played music by ear and would sing and play the guitar, he couldn’t read music notes. He loved the movie Hook with Robin Williams and Pirates of the Caribbean. He used to quote Captain Jack Sparrow all the time saying, “Why’s all the rum gone?”

Preceded in death by father Marvin Mitchell, mother Fran Gray and brother Marvin “Glenn.”

Survived by 2 siblings Debbie and Mitchell and many more loved ones.
