Neville Ann Hayth

Neville Ann Poux Hayth, age 85, died November 19, 2011 at the Laurels of Worthington after suffering from Alzheimer?s. She was born March 6, 1926 in Meadville, PA to the late Naphael R Poux and Margaret Neville Poux. She graduated from St. Mary?s High School, Marion, Ohio and Attended the college of Wooster. She married the love of her life Lt. Col Chester Chet Hayth, August 21, 1948. He predeceased her in 1987.

Survived by son, David N Hayth, Columbus; Daughter & son-in-law, Melinda & Tim Vogel of Dublin, OH & grandsons Michael and Jonathan. Other Survivors include her beloved sister & brother in law Marilyn & Jack young of Hilton head, SC; nephews Mark Barb Young of Hilliard; John Karen Young of Manchester, MO; nieces Julianne Young of Hilton Head, SC & Meg Geddy Bill of Macon, GA.

Neville Ann was a very devout catholic with her faith being of utmost importance in her life. She was the best gardener and ultimate ?Green Thumb?. She called herself the ?Irish wash woman? because of her love to do laundry & clean. Her cooking was wonderful as well as her baking. She fed the birds & kept dog treats on hands for her many two ? legged friends.

She worked numerous jobs throughout her life with the last being for Frigidaire Financial & before that the Anderson?s General Store. She finally decided to retire at age 80. She believed it was important to stay as busy as possible & often said ?an idol mind is the devil?s workshop.?

She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. As she touched so many lives in her 85 years.

The family wishes to thank the Laurels of Worthington and Odyssey Hospice for their great care of Neville Ann.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:30 AM Wednesday at St. Peters Catholic Church, Smoky Row Rd., Worthington. Family will receive friends from 9:30 till 11:30. Burial in Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
