Robert "Bobby Joe" Joseph Gruber, 76, passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2018 in Newark, OH

Bobby Joe was born Sunday, March 1, 1942 in Worthington, OH to the late Robert and Myrtle Gruber

Bobby Joe was a veteran of the United States Air Force and he enjoyed the affection from his dogs, Tigger, Lucy, Happy, and Joy

In his CB Club he was referred to as "Hot Dog"

In his earlier years he enjoyed fishing, golfing, and being with friends

He is survived by his Children; Randy (Donna) Samson, Richard McNair, Bobby (Lois) McNair; Grandchildren; Austin, Anna, Micah (Hali), Meagan, Morgan, and Macauley; Great-Grandchildren, Everett, Hudson, and Juliana along with a host of other family and friends

He is Preceded in death by; wife, Roxann Gruber; parents, Robert and Myrtle Gruber, and sister, Barbara Hoyer

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 10 A.M. at Edwards Funeral Service Chapel, 1166 Parsons Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43206 where Family will accept friends from 9 A.M. until time of service

Interment to follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estates, 8029 E. Main Street, Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068

A luncheon following the services will be held at Faith Life Church, 2147 Beech Road NW, New Albany, Ohio 43054 from 1 P.M. to 3 P.M.
