Robert “Butch” Edward Harshaw, Sr, 72, was a veteran of The U.S Marines Corp. He spent many years employed as a school bus driver, a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service, and a Supervisor at the Ohio State University.
Robert was well known by his family and friends for his stylish dress attire and outgoing personality. He enjoyed cooking and fishing. He loved watching his cowboy shows, and spending time with his family and friends. Robert loved helping others and volunteering at his church.
Robert was preceded in death by his father Willis Whaley, Jr, mother, Rita Harshaw, grandfather, Napoleon Harshaw, Sr, grandmother, Zuella Harshaw, sisters, Avis Whaley and Wanda Bryant.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Beverly Harshaw; sons, Robert Harshaw, Jr and Christopher Brown; Daughters, Regina Harshaw and Shrree (Earl) Brown; grandchildren, Desjuan, Sr, Artnitra, Scharron, Khadijah, Aaliyah, Devonte, Montriece, and Robyn; nine, great-grandchildren, siblings; James Thompson, Brenda Whaley, Vanessa (Charles) Scales, and James Perry, aunt; Betty Greer, special cousins; Kelvin Morse, Ronald Harshaw, and Roberta Truss. He also leaves to cherish in his memory eight great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
