Robert "Bob" Smallidge

Robert 'Bob' Smallidge, age 61, of Newark, Ohio suddenly passed away on January 13, 2021 at his home. He was born on July 3, 1959 in Rochester, NY.

He is survived by his loving children Anthony Smallidge, Michael Lonthair, Nicole Lonthair (Ray), Robert Lonthair (Christina), Christina Lonthair (Rob), Marcia Nelson (Chad); 24 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Surviving siblings are Lois Bailey, Timothy Cook Sr and Catherine Martinez. He also had many nieces and nephews mourning his passing.

Preceded in death by his mother Jeannette Cook and father Durwood Smallidge; siblings Ernestine (Tina) Richardson, Ernest Cook Jr, Douglas Smallidge and Anita Kelly.

Bob enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, and he loved Christmas! He also enjoyed going fishing and working on automobiles in his spare time.

The family requests friends and family may come for visitation from 2 PM to 3 PM at Edwards Funeral Service, 1166 Parsons Ave. in Columbus. The service will begin at 3 PM.
