Rochelle Marie "Candy" English

Rochelle Marie "Candy" English transitioned into eternal life peacefully at age 56. She was a consistent member of New Birth Christian Ministries for several years. She was also an active Church Sunday School Teacher. She was a faithful member until her health would not allow her to attend as she wished.

Rochelle worked in Customer Service for over 26 years. She was also a foster parent and worked on the board of Parents of Murdered Children after her son Dennis A. Francis Jr was murdered in 2001. She spoke out at prisons to inmates about violence and prevention. She was a pillar amongst many and touched a lot of souls.

She leaves to cherish her memory, Daughter Chasity English~ Son Devin English~ Step-Daughter Tiffany Anderson~ Grandchildren Dennis Francis III and Rakim Williams~ Great Grandchildren Tori Hayden and Dennis Francis IIII~ Step-Grandchildren Victor Anderson and Alonzo Anderson~ Sister Delores Longs and Charlotte Fitzgerald~ Brothers Harold Longs and Rev. Dr. Jerome Jones. She will also be cherished by many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her Parents Jessie Mae Mosley Longs and Henry Longs, Adopted Parents Wilbert and Elgetha Currington, Brothers Phillip Dawson and Mallory Mosley and Son Dennis Francis Jr.

Rochelle was a vibrant, spiritual woman. A silent sufferer but resilient through all the trials she endured. Virtuous. She loved God, family, friends and helping others. She enjoyed reading the bible and writing. She was adorned, loved dearly and will truly be missed. "Until We See You Again"...
