Rodney is a proud veteran of the United States Army
He is survived by; his Wife Kimberly Dawn Sheppard; his children Deonna (Terry) Coleman, Rodney (Alyssa) Young Jr., Michael (Mary Beth) Young, and Jessie Young along with 15 grand-children.
He is Preceded in death by; his parents Donald and Jessie Young
A funeral service will be held at Edwards Funeral Service Chapel, 1166 Parsons Ave., Columbus, OH 43206, on Friday, July 22, 2016 at 9 AM where family will accept friends from 8 AM until time of service.
Interment to follow at 12 Noon at Dayton National Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio with Full Military Honor Guard. No procession to cemetery, please drive safely and arrive by 11:45 AM. Maps and directions will be available at the service.
