Brother Ronald Virgil Cavell the son of Willa and John Smith was born March 2, 1933 in Columbus, Ohio. He passed peacefully on Tuesday July 29, 2013 at his residence in Laurelville, Ohio after an extended illness. Answered the final summons and kept his appointment with our Lord and Savior.
A Member of St. Dominics Catholic Church for many years and former employee of Westland Mall Systems of 30 years. He enjoyed the outdoors and countless fishing trips with his loving family.
He is preceded in death by parents Willa and John Smith; Sister Billie Jean Cavell; Brother John Dolly Smith; Sons Ronald M. Dawson, John Virgil Dawson, and Charles E. Dawson; Daughter Michelle M. Dawson; Nephews Ernest Hale Jr. and Reginald M. Cavell; and Grandsons Robert D. Dawson and Timothy L. Dawson.
Ronald leaves to cherish his memories Wife Jill Cavell; Daughters Mary L. Jackson, Teresa Ralph Dalton, and Pamela Daryl Helms; Sons James P. Dawson, Virgil J. Dawson, and Ronald Dawson; Loving Friends and mother of his children Mary Irvine; Special nephew Mark Cavell; Brother Ronald also leaves behind a host of grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and cousins. He will be greatly missed!
A service will be held Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 9:30 AM at the Chapel of EDWARDS FUNERAL SERVICE, 1166 Parsons Ave Columbus, Ohio 43206
