Ruth A. Milhoan

Ruth Gibbs Milhoan, 54, born January 3, 1959 in Huntington, W.Va. to mother, Mattie Gibbs Wright. Ruth was called home on April 24, 2013 to be in heaven with father, Eugene Williams. Ruth was one of six girls and four boys. Ruth was married to her husband, James Milhoan for 27 years, before he passed away on April 30, 2009. They children, Lisa Gibbs, Chad Gibbs and Suney Milhoan; grandchildren, Sasha, Marquice, Anthony Jr., Cianna, Mikhail Ruby, Taleah, Desiree, Cymande Jr., Saniya, Sion, Saire, and Kaleb; great granddaughter, Aniyah Nicole Youngken; brothers and sisters, Earl, Robert, Daniel, Loretta, Mary, Jerry, Brenda, Belinda and Amy. Ruth was a homemaker whom volunteered for the Fruit of the Vine Vineyard Food Pantry for several years with longtime friend, Lois Myer. Ruth and James also owned their own home through Habitat for Humanity where she also met another longtime friend, Melissa Landon. Ruth was kind hearted, loveable, giving and most of all she was very funny. Even when you wee down she could always say something funny to put a smile on your face. Ruth will be well missed by all her love one?s, friends and family.
Services will be held Saturday at 1:00 PM at Edwards Funeral Service Chapel, where family will receive friends from 12 till 1 PM.
