Reynoldsburg

Scott Edward Noffsinger, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2024, in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. Born on April 20, 1960, in West Milton, Ohio,  Scott lived a life rich with love for his family and an unwavering passion for the great outdoors, NASCAR, and football.

Scott was a devoted husband to his wife Rosa Noffsinger. Together they built a beautiful life filled with laughter and cherished memories. He took immense pride in being a father to his three children: Sharlene Shell (husband Zack), Steven Noffsinger, and Sean Noffsinger (wife Maddison). His heart swelled with joy as he embraced the role of grandfather to Reagan, Isaiah, Kate from Sharlene; and Elijah and Olivia from Sean. Each moment spent with them brought him immeasurable happiness—whether it was fishing at Brookville Lake or sharing stories around the campfire.

An avid lover of nature's beauty and tranquility found in outdoor adventures defined much of Scott’s spirit. Fishing trips were not just hobbies but sacred rituals where he connected deeply with both nature and those he loved most. The serenity of water held special meaning for him—a place where he could reflect on life's blessings while creating lasting bonds with family.

Scott is survived by his loving wife Rosa; children Sharlene (Zack), Steven; Sean (Maddison); grandchildren Reagan, Isaiah ,Kate ,Elijah ,and Olivia; brothers Chris Noffsinger (wife Jody)and Jim Noffsinger(wife)Taughna ; cousin Diane Moses; along with countless friends who will miss his warmth and kindness dearly.

In accordance with Scott's wishes following his passing—his ashes will be lovingly spread into Brookville Lake in Indiana as well as Hoover Reservoir in Westerville—a final tribute to the places that brought him peace throughout his life.

As we remember Scott Edward Noffsinger today—and always—we celebrate not only the man who touched our lives but also the legacy of love that continues through each member of his family. His gentle spirit will forever remain alive within their hearts as they carry forward the values he instilled: compassion for others coupled with an appreciation for every precious moment shared together amidst nature’s embrace.
