SHELLEY J. PEAKS-WATERS, 58, passed away Wednesday June 17 at OSU Medical Center. She was born May 18, 1951 to the late John Neil and LillianHendricks Carter. Shelley graduated from Columbus East High School in 1961, was an accomplished writer and poet. <P> She leaves behind as survivors, Sons, Ronald Allen Peaks Jr., Michael Kent Peaks Nene; daughters, Shelley Deanna Peaks and Danielle Rene Peaks; 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 5 aunts, 2 uncles, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends. <P> She is preceded in death by her husband of 7 years, LeRoy Roy Waters, brother, John Frederick Carter, sister, Katherine Lucille Carter and brother, Jeffrie Allen King. <P> Family will receive friends Sunday 5 ? 7 PM at the Chapel of EDWARDS FUNERAL SERVICE, 1166 Parsons Ave. Parsons & Thurman 614-444-3200 <P> A home going service will be held at 11 AM Monday at the First Church of God, 3480 Refugee Road, where family will receive friends from 10 AM.
