Sherry Lin Kinney

Sherry Lin Kinney, 60 years old of Columbus, Ohio lost her battle with COPD on Monday September 20, 2021.

She was born on June 24, 1961, in Columbus, Ohio. Survivors include her husband Eugene Kinney, her 4 children Leslie (John) Scales, Tobie (Getena) Little, Leah (Michael) Bateman and Jayla Friend.  Sister, Darlene (Bill) Murphy and Grandchildren Makiah Russell, Trey Russell, Izaiah Bates, Braxton Scales, Aviannah Scales, Destiny Scales, Bishop Scales, Sophia Scales, Jordan Little, Zoe Little, Hayden Little, Connor Little, Alana Little, Michael Bateman Jr, Michelle Bateman, Layla Bateman, Jordin Bateman, Ezekiel Bateman, Myleigh Thompson, Matthew Thompson and Mackenna Woods.

She is preceded in death by her parents Barbara McKinney and David Snyder and her brother Rocky Snyder.

Sherry loved reading the Bible (King James version) and loved watching the word of God on television.  She and her husband Eugene loved going fishing together and taking care of their dogs Checkers and Roxy.  She also loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She enjoyed cooking for her family, and she was one of the best cooks!   She collected angels for many years.  She was loved by everyone who knew her and will be forever missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held October 15th from 2pm-4pm by Edwards Funeral Service at 1166 Parsons Ave. Columbus, OH 43206.  All friends and family are invited.  Please come and celebrate the life of Sherry Kinney, a loving wife, mother, MiMi, sister, aunt, and friend.
