Lillie Mae (Childs) Lewis, 94, Sunrise February 13, 1924 in Johnston, South Carolina. Sunset December 31, 2018 Columbus, Ohio. She is retired from St. John Church at 59 East Mound Street after 39 years of faithful service.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Leon Lewis; Parents, James & Adriane Childs; one sister, Clara Daisy Weaver; four brothers, George, Thomas, James, and Herbert Childs.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one brother; James (Julia) Childs Jr. of Ward, South Carolina; five nephews, Artis Weaver of          Washington D.C., George & Jermoe Childs of Aiken, South Carolina,  Wallace (Gladys) Childs of Aiken South Carolina, Leroy (Lucy) Weaver of New York; three nieces Margaret (Elijah) Burton of      Johnston South Carolina, Ella Mae (Milton) Williams of Durham, North Carolina, Mimie Weaver of Edgeville, South Carolina and an adopted granddaughter, Shanda Battle; special friends Rosa Pinson, Charlie Mae Mickens, Venice (Rev. Willard) McIntosh, Don Burton, Willie    Pinson, and a host of other relatives & Friends.

A graveside service will be held 1:30 PM Friday January 4, 2019 at Kingwood Memorial Park 8230 Columbus Pike Lewis Center, OH.
