Ms. Tessa Chanze

Tessa Lee (Swisher) Chanze, 40, of Galloway, Ohio formerly of Negley, Ohio, and Stoneboro Pa., passed into the arms of our Heavenly Father after a valiant battle with cancer on Saturday, January 27th, 2024.

She is the daughter of Rick Swisher of Stoneboro, and Zoe and Fred Tomlinson of Negley. Tessa was a graduate of Beaver Local High School in 2002 and graduated from Penn State University with a degree in human development and family studies.

Tessa is preceded in death by her grandparents, John Slick Jr. and Susan Slick, a daughter, Bailey Rose Chanze, and her grandfather Neil Swisher.

Surviving are her two children, Colson Minshull and his fiancee Ashley Doyle of Utica, Pa, and Alexanne Chanze and her father Jason of Slippery Rock Pa.; Her father, Rick Swisher of Stoneboro, parents Zoe and Fred Tolminson of Negley; grandmother Shirley Hamilton of New Wilmington, Pa; sister Haley (Brian) Miller of Negley; brother Jon Tomlinson and his fiancee Savannah Miller of Transfer, Pa; brother Ryan Swisher of Stoneboro; sister Madison Swisher and her boyfriend Kyle McNulty of Espyville, Pa, and sister Elizabeth Swisher of Mercer, Pa, as well as a long list of loving friends and relatives who miss her dearly..

Services will be conducted in private. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Cancer Society so that we can still be victorious in Tessa's fight.
