Thelma Arlene Hoston

Thelma A. Huston, who resided at Abbington of Pickerington, went home to be with the Lord on July 27, 2012. Mrs. Huston was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Harley E. Huston. She is survived by one sister Loretta Stuteville of Lineville, Iowa, a sister-in-law Helen Huston Hilton of Logan, OH, and three children: Linda Charles Flesher of Carroll OH; Diana Mike Jones of Martinez, CA; and Barbara Paul Martin of Pickerington, OH. She had 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Huston attended Bryan College and The Ohio State School of Cosmetology. She was a cosmetologist for 49 years. Thelma was a Sunday School teacher, Vacation Bible School Director and teacher, nursery worker, Children for Christ teacher, and benevolence worker in several churches in the central Ohio area. She was a member for many years of Calvary Bible Church in Columbus, a charter member of Westerville Bible Church, and a faithful member of Greencastle Bible Church in Carroll. Two of her daughters married pastors and the other daughter is a teacher in a Christian School. A memorial service will be held at the Greencastle Bible Church 2940 Amanda-Northern Rd., Carroll, OH on Saturday, August 4, 2012. Visitation hours are from 2:00-3:00 p.m. with the service commencing at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be contributed to the building fund of the Greencastle Bible Church.
