He was born February 22, 1930 in Niagara Falls, NY. to the late Albert and Jane C. Gilroy Peirce
Walt was associated with Len Immke enterprises before he opened Walter Peirce Buick in Toledo.
Survived by his wife of 47 years Sharon; daughters, Deborah Rick Donato, Lewiston, NY, Donna Schug, Raleigh, NC, Cathleen Peirce, Dublin; son Scott of Columbus; brothers, James Dorothy of Orange Park, FL, Edwin Judy of Vero Beach, FL; sisters Helen Hoffman of Tonawanda, NY, Barbara Bud Bernier of North Tonawanda, NY; and 7 grandchildren.
Preceded in death by parents and grandson, Joseph Peirce Donato.
A service will be held 5 pm Sunday, June 26th at the Indian Run United Methodist Church, 6305 Brand Rd., Dublin, OH.
In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made to the Walter F. Peirce Memorial Fund in care of Hunting Bank or 6655 Avery Muirfield Rd., Dublin, OH 43017
