WARREN FRANKLIN BRUNNEY JR.
62 of Lancaster, Ohio, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, November 20th, 2022, after a three-year battle with cancer at O.S.U. He still proclaimed that… “LIFE HAD BEEN A GREAT RIDE” till the very end of his journey.
Warren was a quality carpenter, as he did maintenance and home renovations by day and was a FORMER bartender or customer by night. He was also an avid Buckeye and Nascar fan.
Warren Jr. was preceded in death by his beloved parents; his Father, his namesake, Warren "Butch" Franklin Brunney Sr., and his Mother, his “beautiful” Mom, Margaret A. (Constable) “Peggy” Brunney: Owners of “The Starlite Nite Club” in Lancaster, Ohio. His maternal Great-Grandparents, Joseph and Lillian Willett, and Grandparents, Mary (Willett) McCafferty and Charles Brock Constable. His paternal Grandfather, Forrest (Christina) Brunney, and Grandparents, Kenneth E. Sisco and Burt M. (Woods) Sisco: Owners of “The Friendly Bar” in Lancaster, Ohio. Warren's two paternal Uncles, Jerry L. “Jake” Brunney and Emmitt “Tom” Persinger. His maternal Aunts, Sheila (Watson) Dykes of FL and “The Constable Girls”, Patty (Gene) Hines, Aunt Georgia (Raymond) Graf, Aunt Gerri (John) Beck, of Lancaster, Ohio, and Rita (Constable) Ailes of FL, and many more loved ones.
Warren is survived by his “Little” Sister, Sheryl (Eric) Brunney-Chambers, and families, and his Older Sister, Darlene (Brunney) Gaskill, and families. His son, Charles Brock (Leslie) Brunney and Candice (Wilson) Moore; the mother of his two grandsons, Brendon Lee Brunney and Charles Chance Brunney of Alabama.
Warren has extended family and Lifelong friends that will greatly miss his presence in their lives. A “private” celebration of Life Memorial will be held Sunday, December 17th at Stus’ Place (Sportsmans) 434 N. Columbus St. Lancaster, Ohio 43130 from 12pm - 3pm
