Willie B. Huff

Willie B. Huff, age 81, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2019 at the Kobacker House Hospice Care Center.  Willie was born in Ogletree, Georgia on June 13, 1938 to the late Joeree Huff and Minnie Lee Johnson Huff.  Willie was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and was a supervisor at a scrap foundry for many years.

Survivors include his longtime fiancée, Barbara Williams; three children, Derick L. (Alisha Marshall) Huff, Daryl L. (Jacqueline Sherrill) Huff, William B. (Lea Snyder) Huff, Jr; two brothers, Isaac Johnson, Bay Bay Johnson; two sisters, Mary Alice Johnson, Juanita Johnson.  He was blessed with fourteen grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.  Willie also leaves behind several extended family members.  In addition to his parents, Willie was preceded in death by brothers, Jesse Johnson and Columbus Johnson; sister, Sylvia Rogers.

A funeral service will be held 1:00PM, Thursday, October 3, 2019 at Edwards Funeral Service, 1166 Parsons Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43206.  Visitation will be held from 12:00PM until the time of service at the funeral home.  To honor Willie’s service to our nation, military honors will be held after the funeral service.
