Willis Edmund Deardurff

Willis Edmund Deardurff III, age 37, passed away on Thursday, March 6th, 2014. Willis was born June 21st 1976 in Columbus, Ohio, to Lois A. Deardurff and Wendell K. Lawlor. He is survived by his Loving wife of 15 years, Melissa and Daughter Lilith.

Willis is also survived by his many Brothers and Sisters, Wolf Ashlyn Perry, Matthew Rebecca Sabins, Scott Joy Lyon, Leroy Cristina Lyon, Joe Lyon, Jason Camille Wright, Beth Sowers and Sarah Thomas Lewis. Brother in law, Keith Karen Chapman.

Nieces and nephews, Liam Lyon, Cody Chapman, Mike Smith, Aria & Galen Wright, Selena Sowers, Michael Mascola and Elizabeth & Nora Lyon.

His Aunts and Uncles, Bonnie Melvin Lambert, John Deardurff, Rose Griffin and his Great Aunt Donna Patterson. As well as Several cousins and numerous friends.

Willis is preceded in death by his Son, Nathan Adric Deardurff and his Father, Wendell. Maternal Grandparents, Willis E. Deardurff and Gertrude Harold Hicks. His Uncle Willis E Deardurff II as well as many other family members.

Willis attended Columbus Alternative High School and Brookhaven High School where he graduated in 1995. He also studied at CCAD as an art major. He worked for CVS/Pharmacy for 10 years as a Pharmacy Technician. Willis had a heart of Gold and loved to help people. He took the time to listen to others and wasn't afraid to voice his opinion. He loved History, especially his own family history. He enjoyed all kids of music, loved collecting comic books and various other items. Mostly though he loved his family and friends. Willis never got many breaks in life, but he never stopped trying.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, March 22 at 12:00pm at Highbanks Metro Park 9466 Columbus Pike, Lewis Center, Ohio 43035.
